Registration is open for the National Home Infusion Association’s 2027 Annual Conference

Alexandria, VA (September 30, 2027)—Registration is now open for the National Home Infusion Association’s 2027 Annual Conference (NHIA 2027), to be held March 19-23, 2027, at the Gaylord Pacific Resort and Convention Center in San Diego, CA. The conference moves to a Friday-through-Tuesday schedule this year, a change from the Saturday-through-Wednesday pattern of recent years.

The NHIA Annual Conference is the premier education and networking event for the home and alternate site infusion industry. Coming off record attendance of more than 1,700 infusion professionals in 2026, NHIA 2027 will feature four days of educational content on topics selected for their relevance by industry-leading experts and drawing from more than 165 industry submissions on the most current practices and trends.

NHIA 2027 offers over 30 hours of CE for pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, nurses, and dietitians across more than 100 education topics, as well as the year’s best networking opportunities strategically placed throughout each day. Three keynote sessions offer powerful takeaways related to personal and professional success; a high-level industry outlook; and health care leadership in today’s landscape.

New for 2027, NHIA is adding a Parenteral Nutrition Preconference, joining the Foundations of Home Infusion, Executive, and Sterile Compounding preconferences to offer focused education ahead of the general conference. Peer learning is at the center of NHIA’s conference programming. Networking is built into an educational framework and guided by experts, so answers come from everyone in the room. Topic-based receptions, a new format led by facilitators, bring a real industry challenge to the group to solve together, and the popular roundtable discussions highlight a week of immersive learning. AI Session Summaries also return, giving attendees concise recaps of key session takeaways to revisit after the conference. Additionally, sales and marketing content has been refocused into a more comprehensive Business Development track.

“NHIA continues to elevate and evolve the conference based on industry trends and needs while also maintaining the high-quality education and intimate atmosphere attendees appreciate,” says NHIA President and CEO Connie Sullivan. “This year we are putting peer learning at the center of the program. We’ve built more ways for attendees to learn from one another, guided by experts, to leave with a foundation and connections they can keep building on all year. ”

NHIA’s one-of-a-kind Sterile Compounding Clinic incorporates practical solutions to the latest standards into the curriculum and provides a unique opportunity for optional hands-on training in a simulated clean room environment. The program offers 19 additional hours of continuing education credit and is a PTCB-approved education/training program for the Compounded Sterile Preparation Technician (CSPT) Certification.

After a sold-out exhibit hall in 2026, more than 80% of exhibit space for NHIA 2027 is already reserved, and NHIA expects the Expo to sell out again. Infusion professionals will explore the Expo, which offers eight dedicated hours to learn about the latest products and services that will improve business operations and take quality patient care to the next level. The action-packed exhibit hall will feature more than 150 exhibitors, learning lab, poster abstract gallery, and networking opportunities all week long, plus the reimagined Infusion Experience will take attendees through the entire patient journey from referral to infusion, walking through five stations and corresponding accreditation standards.
